child gets hit by the car because it couldn estimate the speed of the car and didnt pay attention to the traffic lights. car didnt see the child because it was standing between two parking cars.
pedestrians were still crossing the street even though the walking sign had stopped long ago. The driver went ahead because it was their green and ran over people
cab driver tried to pull up to the curb to pick up passenger, but wound up hitting another pedestrian that had just stepped off the sidewalk in front of them
a pedestrian is in a hurry, running to still catch the train, stops on a intersection but pays not enough attention or time to look for cars, crosses and a car comes too fast and ... boom! death.
the pedestrian walking sign was about to turn on so a pedestrian stepped 3 feet off the curb to get a head start. drivers were still coming perpendicular to them and wound up hitting the pedestrian standing there.

pedestrian died because a car made a left hand turn into the crosswalk which was created by the fact that he was wearing his ipod and didn't notice
