How To Buy A More Pedestrian Friendly Car

I also found this site: http://www.rospa.com/RoadSafety/advice/motorvehicles/pedestrian_protection.htm that shows some good points and it might help us to focus more or rather to narrow down our topic...perhaps?

About Pedestrian Protection:

The safety of pedestrians can be increased by improving:
-the attitudes, skills and behaviour of drivers
-the attitudes, skills and behaviour of pedestrians
-the design of the road environment so it is more pedestrian friendly
-the design of vehicles so that they are more pedestrian friendly

How do you make cars safer for pedestrians?

How To Buy A More Pedestrian Friendly Car

When will cars on the road comply with the legislation?

An organisation called EuroNCAP test vehicles to see how pedestrian friendly they have been designed to be. The results are published so that car buyers can take the pedestrian safety of their vehicle into account before they buy it. The pedestrian protection rating is separate from the occupant protection rating that is commonly quoted in advertising.
