lenticular magic

we've been researching lenticular printing and we have some interesting reading for you all:

basically, lenticular printing is holograms: with a special lense two or more images are printed in strips on bevels so that by viewing it from different angles you see a different angle. the only applications we've seen this used for is flat images. stickers, bilboards, trading cards. etc. but why couldn't we integrate this into the driving system?

we then learned that philips is using this technology for lcd tv screens to make movie watching and video game expieriences even greater. instead of the viewer moving to see moving images, the layers are sliced so that each eye views a different image simulatiously, creating the 3d effect. i like the idea that light can be integrated into this, like the tv screen.
