For all those who text message while walking, they tend to look down at the floor, and may not notice the DONT WALK signal blinking across the street. this design is to have lights that grab their attention before the cross into the intersection by placing them on the ground in front of them. Or a barrier light that projects upwards certainly getting the pedestrians attention

Blinking corner signals for pedestrians
For all those who text message while walking, they tend to look down at the floor, and may not notice the DONT WALK signal blinking across the street. this design is to have lights that grab their attention before the cross into the intersection by placing them on the ground in front of them. i think that idea about the "light wall" is really cool. it kind of goes with my idea about the intersection that is bathed in light. we should research what technology philips has that could achieve these goals.
